Is It a Trial or a Blessing?

"Look at things with an ETERNAL Perspective"

Growing up things were not always the brightest and I used to ask why is this happening to me? And I'm sure you have asked that same question at some point in your life. It is a blessing to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life, because it has helped me to see everything from a different perspective. To see things with an Eternal Perspective. Since I was little it always seemed like we always had problems and they seemed to never end, I'm not saying my life is perfect  now, but God gives me the guidance and strength that I need to continue forward. As I continued studying the scriptures I realized that Jesus Christ has the power to make our burdens light if we will turn to him. Also I have learned that when I was going through a trial it was hard to get through it because I was asking the wrong question or simply I was not seeing the whole picture. You may be thinking how can asking a different question make things any different, well let me tell you it makes a huge difference. As you continue reading you will see why.
The savior Jesus Christ said: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). As part of our mortal probation, we pass through affliction, pain, and disappointment. Only in Jesus Christ can we find peace. He can help us to be of good cheer and to overcome all the challenges of this life. Who better to help us than our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ that knows us better than anyone else. How can we be of Good cheer? Simply by having faith and hope, by not getting discouraged and applying the teachings of Jesus Christ in our lives, that will help us to live life more joyfully.  We should face life with confidence and trust that our Heavenly Father will always be there by our sides and as we take every step with faith we will continue strong in the path that he has shown us.
The gospel of Jesus Christ gives is the strength and the eternal perspective to face what is coming with Good cheer. We should always do the best that we can, but the final outcome is up to our Heavenly Father. We should never complain, about what happens in our lives, we need to learn to accept the will of Our Heavenly Father. He loves us and knows what's best for us.
I would like to end with a few words from James B. Martino, he said " Our Heavenly Father, who loves us completely and perfectly, permits us to have experiences that will allow us to develop the traits and attributes we need to become more and more Christlike. Our trials come in many forms, but each will allow us to become more like the Savior as we learn to recognize the good that comes from each experience. As we understand this doctrine, we gain greater assurance of our Father’s love. We may never know in this life why we face what we do, but we can feel confident that we can grow from the experience."..."As we pass through the trials of life, let us keep an eternal perspective, let us not complain, let us become even more prayerful, let us serve others, and let us forgive one another. As we do this, “all things [will] work together for good to [us] that love God.” (All things work together for good-by James B. Martino)
I know that our Father loves us and He sent his son Jesus Christ to show and pave the way for us. He suffered, He died, and He was resurrected that we might live, and He desires that we might have joy, even in our trials of life. He is always by our sides to help us get through all the things that we will face in this life. Continue moving forward always trusting our Heavenly Father and having Faith in him.
